Description

The Centre de transformation de la viande du Bas St-Laurent is a group of producers of beef and lamb that transforms a 100% regional meat (born in region, fed with regional fodder and grains, slaughtered and processed in region). All our meat supply comes directly from the producers, we provide traceability from farm tol_saveursbsl-c.gif counter, from carcass to the finest cuts, from delicatessen to ready-made meals.

Business History

The Centre de transformation de la viande du Bas St-Laurent has been implemented to add value to animals produced by the owners and shareholders of the company and, in the meantime, to their raw material. More than 60% of the shareholders are producers, they are proud to offer a range of 100% Quebec - even regional - superior products. 

Presently, the production originates from the incubator located in the Centre de développement bioalimentaire du Québec (CDBQ),  Lapocatière. Our centre will be built as of July 2008. It will be the first HACCP centre in our region. We focus on our customers' satifaction. We strive to offer the most natural - and whenever possible gluten-free - products.

In October 2008, our building will be completed and we will proceed with our operations from our new 100% HACCP premises.
